Purified GST-tagged human Farnesoid X receptor LBD |
||
Farnesoid X receptor (FXR) is also known as nuclear receptor subfamily 1, group H, member 4 (NR1H4). GST-tagged Farnesoid X receptor ligand-binding domain (FXR-LBD) consists of a 218 a.a. GST tag (Schistosoma japonicum Glutathione S-Transferase, Acc# 1M99_A), a 13 a.a. flexible linker and a 246 a.a. FXR-LBD, Acc# AAI30574.1, amino acids 231-476 (details). GST tagged FXR-LBD was expressed in baculovirus-infected insect cells and purified using affinity chromatography (Fig. 1). FXR-LBD was produced in the absence of detergents and exogenous ligands to ensure advanced performance in ligand-binding assays and coregulator displacement studies. |
Storage buffer 50 mM Tris-HCl pH 8.0, 150 mM NaCl, 0.5 mM EDTA, 3 mM Dithiothreitol, 7 mM reduced glutathione, 20% glycerol.
