	BV-Syn-GFP™ is a recombinant baculovirus which provides for high level expression of GFP-tagged human alpha synuclein (Acc# AAI08276). A GFP tag (Aequorea victoria green fluorescent protein) is fused to the C-terminus of full size synuclein via flexible Ile-Ser-Gly-Gly-Gly-Ser-Gln-Lys spacer to allow independent folding of synuclein and GFP. The fusion protein is expressed under control of a very strong p10 promoter and exhibits strong green fluorescence (GFP reporter).
