AB Vector - BV-Tau412KE™

  BV-Tau412KE™ Cat. #PD15

BV-Tau412KE™ is a recombinant baculovirus which provides for high level expression of human 412 a.a. tau isoform. The protein differs from the originally described 412 a.a. isoform (Goedert et al., Neuron, 3: 519-526, 1989) in that it carries K267-E mutation. The protein is expressed under control of a very strong p10 promoter. Despite non-conservative nature of the mutation Sf9 cells infected with BV-Tau412KE™ form characteristic axon-like cell processes (Knops et al., J Cell Biol, 114: 725-733,1991).
